Situations of Rapid Change
“Situations of Rapid Change” (SRC) are instants, in the lifecycle of a firm, when the dynamics of a transformation process exceed the capabilities of the organization to adapt.
These can be triggered by the voluntarily initiation of an irreversible transformation process, or be forced from outside, through disruptive changes in the economic environment.
SRC are paralleled by adverse changes of the economic status of the firm.
