Situations of Rapid Change
“Situations of Rapid Change” (SRC) are instants in the lifecycle of a firm when the dynamics of a transformation process exceed the capabilities of the organisation to adapt.
These can be triggered by the voluntary initiation of an irreversible transformation process, or be forced from outside, through disruptive changes in the economic environment.
SRC are paralleled by adverse changes of the economic status of the firm.
